Hi, I'm Gareth Mills, of Victoria, not Queensland. I used Tornelo to enter the Begonia Open and am now looking to enter the Mildura Open. I can't find the profile I previously created.1 vote
Sorry about that – the arbiters in Ballarat had neglected to click the “finished” button on the event your profile hadn’t been completed.
I’ve updated the Ballarat tournament and so now you should be able to log-in and enter Mildura.
Tornelo now supports the two most popular ratings formulae – ELO and Glicko.
You can now change your password using the Edit link from your Account Settings page.
If a player creates two accounts then merge them together. One player having 2 email addresses.4 votes
Some schools are overstated by as much as 700 points because kids who moved on to high school have not been adjusted for and their ratings are included. I wonder what our school's ranking would be if the other schools were cleaned up.1 vote
School officials can now remove players that are no longer at their school using the school page.
Tournelo team names (ability to customise) without suggesting superiority. Better for team spirit and morale. Could be based on school colours or house names.1 vote
take everybody's profile off public, or at least give them the option after they claim the profile. if i search my full name in google it comes up with my full name and school. especially as this is a kids website...3 votes
Tornelo already does provide the option for any player to be “private” – you just need to contact us and let us know.
Or is this possible and I've missed it?1 vote
Could you have a field for setting the starting board number.
With several divisions, 1 division could start on 1, the next on say 21. This would make it easier with 1 set of table numbers to keep divisions separate.1 vote
You CAN actually do this already! If you click the “Settings” button next to the division name (Division Settings) you have all sorts of options including Table Number (start number) and number of rounds planned. Changing the number won’t update any already paired rounds, so you need to do it THEN pair round 1.
